SM&NC at home learning packs:
Available starting April 8th. Activity packs delivered curbside (local areas only and limited supply). All materials will be packed with gloves and sterilized. Topics include:
Owl Pellet Dissection Pack: A great at-home activity to explore the food chain! Contains two fully-cleaned and sterilized owl pellets, a curriculum guide, tweezers and toothpicks, a bone chart, a sheet on Connecticut owls, suggestions for extension activities at your home, and paper plates on which to work. Recommended for ages 5 and up.
Farm Critter Creation Pack: includes create your own stuffed animal materials (horse, pig or lamb—our choice), "what came from the farm" scavenger hunt, baby animal match cards, and curriculum guide. Recommended for ages 4 and up.
Rocks & Minerals Pack: 16 Real rock & mineral specimens, ID guide, curriculum guide & activities, and rock & mineral exploration sheet. Recommended for ages 5 and up.
