Family and Children's Aid gave a shout out to  Fairfield County Bank for donating a meal of their choice to the homeless mothers and children at FCA's Harmony House.

 K&J Tree Service with locations in Norwalk and Hamden made national news (and pulled on the heartstrings of locals) for hanging a flag outside of Danbury and Norwalk Hospitals as a patriotic tribute to the frontline team battling COVID-19.

Westport resident, Virginia Jaffe, is leading a homemade mask initiative to support essential workers in our community. She and her team have organized sewing productions within their own homes, making over 100 washable and re-usable masks a day.

Last night the Twin Ridge neighborhood found a way to celebrate those who work in the healthcare industry.  A "car train" was organized by Susan Bliss and others to give thanks to our healthcare heroes and raise spirits.  It was carefully designed to maintain social distancing.  Cars lined up at 6:45 and the parade moved along at 7 PM. 

Baby Mangan was born at 8:49 am via cesarean section to parents Miranda and Nick Mangan, of White Plains, NY. The hospital’s no-visitor policy due to the community spread of the coronavirus meant family members couldn’t be present. But that didn’t prevent Miranda’s father, stepmother, stepsister and brother-in-law from driving one-and-a-half hours from Patchogue, NY to Greenwich Hospital to wish the couple good luck and await the birth of the baby.
